The Dark Knight

I would just like to write a very quick and brief review on the new Batman movie!

To sum it up in one word: FANTASTIC!

I absolutely loved this film! Not only was its action awesome and the entire film amazing, but Heath Ledger’s role as The Joker was MAGNIFICENT! Heath did more than EXCELLENT at this role! I immediately fell in love with the Joker’s character! Apart from being very mentally deranged and creepy, his character had an odd twist of humor that just made the film much more enjoyable. His performance captured the entire audience at the theater! It was worth staying up till midnight to see the premiere! In fact, I’m going to be watching it AGAIN today. Hehe!

My opinion on Christian, the actor for Batman, I honestly think they could have picked a better Batman, but he was a good one, nonetheless. The only thing that bugged me highly about Christian was his voice he used for Batman. NOT BRUCE, but Batman. It was a bit too much, if you ask me. Other than that, I suppose there was nothing too wrong with their choice of an actor. I just can’t seem to think much of any of Christian’s films after I saw “The American Psycho.” I’ve got his ‘psycho-killing’ character carved into my brain whenever I see his face. Haha. So it’s a little hard to push that character aside and focus on Bruce when I watch him on the screen.

Honestly though, Heath Ledger was fantastic at his role. He really stole the film, but with great style.

I think he deserves an Oscar. He did such an amazing job, that I believe he was THEE BEST Joker in ANY Batman movie that ever existed. Heath definitely adds a very nice touch to the character, one that was different from the rest, but far greater than any other Joker had hoped to be. I highly recommend for you to see this film! It’s not disappointing in the slightest. =)

And I just wanted to say that I would give The Dark Knight four and a half stars out of five. Bruce Wayne’s Batman’s voice lost the other half of the fifth star! Other than that, the movie was perfect and I loved it. I would highly recommend it to anyone! And just a quick note: I agree 100% with Spaulding on her review of The Joker! I know his family is proud of him. I hope you enjoy the show, just keep in mind it’s almost three hours long. So try to get your seat in the back so your neck doesn’t cramp up. Haha. =)
